Objectives
After completing the course, the student
• identify the largest manufacturers of vehicles
• can understand the distribution networks of the vehicle industry
• knows aftermarketing in Finland
• know the jobs in the automotive industry in Finland and the various job descriptions in the automotive industry.
Content
The aim of the course is to get an overview of both the international vehicle industry and the national aftermarket in the vehicle industry.
Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2)
Can identify vehicle manufacturers and aftermarkets. Works in a group. Recognizes his communication skills. Identifies important operating methods for one's field.
Assessment criteria, good (3-4)
Can structure the operating methods of both vehicle manufacturers and those operating in the aftermarket. Can cooperate responsibly and is ready to develop his interaction skills.
Assessment criteria, excellent (5)
Comprehensively understands vehicle manufacturers' operating methods and distribution chains. Able to analyze the operating methods and distribution chains of both vehicle manufacturers and nationally operating car, repair and spare parts stores. The student is highly motivated, takes committed responsibility for his own and the group's performance and reporting.
