Planning and executing automotive and industrial vehicle after sales operations. Layout and equipment planning, environmental issues, organization, workplace co-operation, personnel issues, work scheduling and economics, garage management and spare part sales software.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2)

Can recognize and define different kind of machine choices and workshop layout. Recognize working methods in workshop, but can not explain choices to make. Work in a group. Recognize co-operation skills.

Assessment criteria, good (3-4)

Can classify different kind of workshop working methods to each other. Can make a choice from machines and workshop layout and explain it. Can work responsible in group and is ready to improve co-operation skills.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

Understands widely workshop working methods, layout and machines. Is able to choose machines and create new solutions. Can work responsible, flexible and co-operative in group. Is able to improve both own and group co-operation.

Implementation take place in autumn. Lectures are in TAMK, visits in workshops will be announced separately.

Part of the workshop visits are mandatory. The group exercise seminar sessions are mandatory for everyone.

Exam schedules

Examination in the end of course. Renewal of the exam can be done in two examination event after implementation.

Assessment methods and criteria

Group exercises and learning tasks 75%, exam 25%. Exercises and exam needs to passed for passed grade.

Peer evaluation is taken into account in the evaluation of the group exercise.

Implementation includes lectures, planning works, visits in workshops and working in a team.

Learning materials

Course literature consist of material, which is in Moodle, and workshop machine manufacturers and importers technical brochures.

Student workload

Lectures 36 hours, independent work and group work 70 hours.

- working process in a workshop
- workshop planning
- machinery
- software
- material flow
- environment roles
- safety (including electricity).

Completion alternatives

There is no other possibilities to accomplish the implementation.
