Objectives
After completing the course student will be able to design and implement a user-friendly and visually high-quality website, that meets the requirements of technical functionality, aesthetics, and accessibility. The student is able to utilize digital graphics to create the visual identity of the website and apply user-centered design principles.
The student will be able to work in small groups and participate in practical product development projects, applying project management methods and structuring development phases effectively. They will master the lifecycle of a product development project, including idea generation, implementation, testing and documentation. Additionally, the course develops the student’s technical skills, problem-solving abilities, communication proficiency, and responsibility in developing digital solutions.

Project Planning and Implementation 3.5 ECTS

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2)
The student recognizes the basic principles of website design and implementation but only partially meets the technical and visual requirements in their work. Their contribution to small-group work is mostly supportive, and their understanding of the phases of project management is not yet comprehensive.
Assessment criteria, good (3-4)
The student can design and implement a website that meets essential technical requirements, provides a functional user interface, and takes basic accessibility principles into account. They actively participate in project work and apply project management methods purposefully. The use of digital graphics and user-centered design is clearly reflected in the final outcome.
Assessment criteria, excellent (5)
The student demonstrates in-depth expertise in website design and implementation, combining a visually high-quality and technically robust solution in an innovative manner. They manage the entire product development lifecycle—from ideation to testing and documentation—apply project management methods smoothly in a team, and take responsibility for developing user-centered and accessible solutions. Their reporting and communication exhibit clarity and professional competence.
