Objectives
Student shows development in their work as an artistic director of a choir. He/she is able to shape the sound of an ambitious amateur choir. A student hears and locates details in the sound of a choir and shapes them using appropriate training methods and conducting technique. A Student is capable of performing a selection of B-level repertoire in a public concert.
Content
Conducting technique: technically skilled, expressive and communicative gestures.
Rehearsing methods: Different rehearsing approaches on voice training, tuning a choir, shaping choral sound and choral psychology and pedagogy.
Analysis of different styles of choral scores and playing choral scores.
Rehearsing and conducting a choir, even an own established one.
Studying a wide range of choral repertoire on B-level and mastering it technically and artisticly. Concert performance.
