Objectives

The goal of the study module is to enhance the student's ability to analyze structural differences and similarities in narrative formats, as well as to identify various ways to build and develop tension within them. Additionally, students will learn to conceptualise a narrative in a group, present it professionally, and further develop it based on received feedback.

After completing the course, the student
- can analyse structural differences and similarities between various series formats
-identifies different ways a series can build and develop tension
- can concept a series as part of a group
- can present a series concept and further develop it based on received feedback

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2)

The student's understanding of the structural differences and similarities in various narrative formats, as well as the development of tension in serialized works, remains somewhat limited. The student superficially recognises different ways to build tension. Group conceptualisation is partially imitative, and professional competence is limited. Incorporating feedback in the presentation and development of serialised content is partially lacking. The work and interaction related to conceptualising narrative formats are somewhat deficient.

Assessment criteria, good (3-4)

The student is aware of the structural differences and similarities in various narrative formats and can evaluate different ways to build and develop tension in serialised works. Group conceptualisation is structured and applied. The student can apply their knowledge in developing ideas, considering various ways to build tension. Professional competence is more organised. The student is improving their work and interaction in conceptualizing series.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student can deeply analyse the structural differences and similarities in various narrative formats and apply this knowledge extensively in developing ideas. They identify and develop different ways to creatively and constructively build tension. Group conceptualisation is broad, creative, and diverse. The student presents the serialised content very professionally and actively and insightfully develops it further based on received feedback. They actively improve their work and interaction in conceptualising series.
