In the course, students delve into the knowledge and skills needed for freelance work, considering aspects such as finances, skill development, branding, self-leadership, and well-being. The course includes the creation of a business plan for freelance work.

After completing the course, the student
- knows various income streams in freelance work
- possesses skills to develop themselves in managing the finances of freelance work
- analyses their own skills and opportunities to succeed as a freelancer in relation to the competition in the industry
- understands the importance of competence development, creating a targeted work portfolio, and networking for a freelancer's business
