Objectives

The goal of the study module is to enhance the student's ability to utilize their own cultural environment in selecting topics and to adeptly master various methods for constructing script structures.

After completing the course, the student
- can utilize their cultural environment and personal observations in selecting and screenwriting topics.
- recognises the three-act structure.
- can structure their script into acts, episodes, and scenes while defining their dramaturgical significance.
- can employ various methods in shaping the screenplay's structure.
- is capable of giving and receiving feedback and using feedback as a tool in their writing

Cultural environment and the writer's perception.
The three-act structure.
Episodes and scenes in the screenplay.
Interaction, reflection, and the process of professional rewriting.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2)

The student is partially aware of the influence of their cultural environment and worldview on topic selection and scriptwriting. They have situational awareness of the three-act model and can only rudimentarily structure their script into acts, episodes, and scenes. The dramatic significance of the script remains somewhat superficial. The student uses a limited range of methods in forming the script structure. There are some shortcomings in giving and receiving feedback, but the student actively works on improving their approach and interaction.

The student is aware of the influence of their cultural environment and worldview on topic selection and scriptwriting. They have knowledge of the three-act model and can structure their script into acts, episodes, and scenes. The dramaturgical significance of the script is well-organised. The student uses a diverse range of methods in forming the script structure. They can give, receive, and utilise constructive feedback, actively developing their work and interaction skills.

The student excels in utilising their cultural environment and worldview in topic selection and scriptwriting. They possess profound knowledge of the three-act model and adeptly structure their script into acts, episodes, and scenes. The dramaturgical significance of the script is extensively and creatively developed. The student uses various methods in forming the script structure in a highly professional manner. Giving and receiving feedback is done in a very professional manner, and the student actively improves their work and interaction skills.
