The student gets an overview of the different parts of the construction industry, legislation, companies and organizations. The foundation of his growth as a real estate and construction player will be strengthened.

The student will be able to use the basic software needed for the studies and to produce documents with them, and will learn to use TAMK's information network services. The student learns to search independently for relevant literature.

Orientation week program and familiarization with vocational studies.

Development of the construction industry in Finland and internationally. Importance of the real estate and construction cluster as the basis of well-being. Familiarize yourself with the sources of information in the construction industry and with the Land Use and Building Act and Decree. Familiarize yourself with the current construction site and its documents by workgroups.

Use of TAMK web services, security, computer structure, data networks and communications, book exam, lesson exercises, homework, style usage, SFS document standard layout, image and other content insertion and layout, header and table, tables, page settings, spell checking, hyphenation and language, spreadsheet (MS Excel), basic formulas, operator usage, print settings, layout, graphs, trend line, regression line, macros, buttons and combo box, copying and OLE Word and Excel, presentation graphics (MS PowerPoint), simple presentation, basic and title style , slide structure, image insertion and layout, PDF (Adobe Acrobat and Reader).
