Objectives

The course covers orientation to studying and the operational environment of the audiovisual industry.

After completing the course, the student
• knows the curriculum and the principles for implementation of studies in their degree programme
• knows the principles and opportunities of personal study planning
• recognises key characteristics of the audiovisual media industry's operating environment and relates them to professional development objectives
• recognises the importance of study skills in the progression of studies
• can use key study tools and services.

Assessment criteria, pass/fail

The student compares the curriculum in relation to their own goals and the needs of the professional field. The student assesses and improves their study skills. The student develops their proficiency in using study tools.
