The student is able to execute experimental artwork and plan its distribution and marketing.
The course gives knowledge of various publishing methods, marketing and entrepreneurial strategies, including virtual platforms, as well as distribution and marketing practices for wider audiences. The course offers knowledge of selling processes and copyrights.
Content
Experimental artwork. Exhibition and distribution plan. Visual marketing. Experimenting AI in productions. Utilization of virtual platforms and galleries. Selling and copyrights.
Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2)
The student is able to recognise some of the concepts of moving image artwork and produce basic artwork and a plan for its distribution. The student performs the assigned tasks under supervision and assistance and knows how to apply skills acquired from previous courses. The student knows how to give and receive feedback and work in a team.
Assessment criteria, good (3-4)
The student understands the concepts related to moving image art production and distribution. The student is able to produce an artwork and choose the most suitable process, justify their choices and solve problems well. The student is able to give and receive feedback actively and constructively and keeps up with the schedule, committing to the study group's activities.
Assessment criteria, excellent (5)
The student understands very well the relationships between the concepts related to moving image production and distribution and is able to connect with the professional context. The student is able to look for diverse solution options and justify their choices well. The student evaluates solutions and creates new explorative content for the field. The student is able to give and receive feedback actively and constructively, keeps up with the schedule, commits to the study group's activities and is able to help others. The student is highly motivated.
