Objectives (course unit)
- You are able to apply your knowledge of nutrition to support strength and endurance training. - You are able to apply your knowledge of nutrition when guiding and counseling athletes and people exercising regularly.
Content (course unit)
The course content consists of three topics related to the: - Basic knowledge of nutrition (1 ECTS credit) - Energy demand and consumption during exercise, energy metabolism (2 ECTS credits) - Nutrition, fluid balance and recovery to support endurance and strength training (2 ECTS credits)

Does not require prior knowledge.

The course has learning tasks and tests and three (3) mandatory exams.
Assessment methods and criteria
The course is assessed as passed - failed. Approved completion of the course (5 ECTS CR) requires that the learning tasks and tests and the three (3) mandatory exams have been successfully completed. More detailed evaluation criteria can be found on the course platform. If you are planning to study in the summer, it is good to know that the credits are recorded in August. This is a nonstop start and students can start their studies approximately within a week after enrolling on this course. The course is carried out online in Learn eLearning environment. You will see your course period in the course invitation letter. You must complete your studies within three (3) months.
