Objectives (course unit)

Students: Students: -understand how the company functions as an organization -are familiar with factors that affect individual motivation and attitudes within the organization -are aware of the labor market within their own industry -understand the importance of teamwork within the organization and recognize the value of personnel development and competence building -understand the connection between employee well-being at work and the company's success -understand the significance of leadership and the relationship between leadership and the company’s goals and strategy -are familiar with personnel development processes and reward systems -are aware of different management systems

Content (course unit)

The subjects covered on the course cover organizational behaviour and the concept of leadership in different contexts and forms of organizations, such as team leading, strategic leadership, human resource management and leading as an individual process. The course introduces a broad range of leadership theories and how they are applied to organizations today.
