Opintojakso koostuu viidestä osa-alueesta, jotka opiskelija suorittaa viiden viikon aikana. Seuraavaan jaksoon siirtyminen edellyttää edellisen jakson suorittamista, joten opiskelijan on palautettava oppimistehtävänsä viikoittain. Lopuksi opiskelija koostaa oppimispäiväkirjan, joka palautetaan opintojakson päätteeksi.
