Objectives (course unit)
The course provides you with the skills to use the WEIS-FI assessment method for evaluating the work environment, which helps you collect information about the psychosocial and physical factors in the work environment and find out about the interviewee's experiences of how these factors affect their job satisfaction and well-being at work. You will learn to identify rehabilitation needs related to returning to work and how the work environment affects a person's work ability and performance, as well as how to use a customer-oriented assessment method. Content (course unit)
In-depth study of the assessment method based on the Model of Human Activity (MOHO), covering the following topics: why the method is useful, theoretical background, perspectives on work ability assessment, use of the method, and perspectives on documentation. Each topic in the course includes material to deepen understanding and an assignment/exam.

A non-stop online study program that students can complete entirely independently. A non-stop online course that students can complete completely independently between 01.01.2026 and 31.05.2026. The Moodle course closes on 31.5.2026 and after that it will not be possible to complete the course or parts of it in this implementation.
Assessment methods and criteria
The topics/sections of the course are: why the use of the method is useful, theoretical background, perspectives on work ability assessment, use of the method and perspectives on documentation. Each section contains material to deepen understanding and a multiple-choice exam on the basics. The exams are considered passed when a sufficient number of answers are correct. There is no limitation to the number of trials of the exams. Passing the course requires passing all exams of all topics/sections. After the end of the course (ending date 31 May 2026), the student's approved course will be entered into the study register.
