Objectives (course unit)
The student is able to connect the objectives of the company and its procurement strategy to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs) and Triple Bottom line framework. The student acknowledges sustainability as a strategic approach and is able to design a business case on procurement’s role in managing sustainability. The student acknowledges the role of sourcing and development of suppliers in managing sustainability, and is able to apply problem-identification, analysis and problem-solving to support development of supply chain sustainability. The student applies sustainable supply chain management theories to practical supply chain contexts. The student is able to analyze and develop sustainability guidelines or supplier code-of-conduct documents by considering the requirements from different stakeholders. The student is able to compare and design sustainability reports according to the standards of Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) of the European Union.

Online lectures via Teams. Online learning material and both individual and group assignment and via Moodle learning platform. Link to Moodle pages will be sent via email to the students once the enrolment is complete, a week before the course starts
