Objectives (course unit)

The student can - communicate at a basic level in communication situations in working life - understand short texts and speeches - tell things about him/herself and workplace (also about the past) - ask for important information by writing and speaking and - use basic grammar and expressions.

- writing and speaking briefly - understanding texts and speech - working life situations and vocabulary - reviewing and studying basic and intermediate level (YKI 2-3) grammar

Teaching methods

Would you like to feel more confident using Finnish in the workplace? This course will help you improve your language skills for various professional situations, including job interviews, meetings, and customer interactions. This is a 100% nonstop online course where the student studies and completes assignments independently. The language of instruction is Finnish. The course starts 16.9.2024 and ends 31.7.2025. You must register for the course 30.6.2025 at the latest. The student can decide when to study, but the course assignments must be completed by 31.7.2025. The course is assessed based on the online course assignments.
