Objectives (course unit)
After completing the course, the student is able to: · describe the concepts of effectiveness and efficiency and related problems · become familiar with various approaches and methods for evaluating effectiveness and their use in the development of health promotion · determine the focus, goals and methods of evaluation regarding the effectiveness of health promotion in different operating environments · plan and evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of health promotion interventions

Opintojakso toteutuu monimuotoisesti verkko-opetuksen menetelmin.
Learning materials
Lähiopetuksessa käytetty oppimateriaali (luennot) lisätään opetuskerran jälkeen Itslearningiin. Sinne lisästään myös muu käytössä oleva materiaali.
Student workload
Opintojakso (5 opintopistettä) toteutuu verkko-opetuksen menetelmin. Sen suorittamiseksi opiskelijan tulee tehdä yksi paritehtävä ja yksi yksilötehtävä sekä osallistua kaikille etäopetuskerroille. Jos opiskelija on poissa opetuksesta, opettaja antaa hänelle korvaavan tehtävän opetuskerran jälkeen Itsissä. Opiskelijan tulee olla ensimmäisellä opetuskerralla opetuksessa, muutoin opettaja voi poistaa hänet opintojaksolta. Opintojakso arvioidaan asteikolla hyl./T1-K5. Arviointi koostuu tehtäväarvioista. Lähiopetus: 12 h Itsenäinen työskentely, esim. materiaaleihin perehtyminen 10 h Paritehtävä: 43 h Yksilötehtävä: 70 h Yhteensä: 135h

Opintojakson voi hyväksilukea vastaavalla suorituksella tai sen voi suorittaa osaamisen näytöllä. Osaamisen näyttö tulee sopia vastuuopettajien kanssa ennen opintojakson alkua.
International connections
Opintojakso toteutuu verkko-opetuksen menetelmin. Opiskelijoilta edellytetään osallistumista kaikille etäopetustunneille. Niiltä poissaolot korvataan korvaavalla tehtävällä, jotka annetaan kunkin opetustunnin jälkeen. Opintojaksoa ei voi suorittaa pelkästään korvaavilla tehtävillä.
