Objectives (course unit)

Preventive maintenance and its planning are an important part of the operations of a modern production plant. NDT -methods are part of preventive maintenance methods. NDT -methods can also be utilized in production and manufacturing quality management. In this course, you will learn to identify NDT methods that can be applied in industrial maintenance. You will deepen your knowledge of specific NDT methods of your choice. You will learn to analyze the application of NDT methods in maintenance in a different industry (eg energy production or distribution, engineering, paper and / or pulp production or some other industry).
