Objectives (course unit)
The student will be able to recognise drivers and factors impacting ones overall well-being and career. The student will be able to recognise financial potential of one's athlete career and he understands the essentials of sport business planning for his own career. The student is able to develop a personal marketing or communication plan and he understands the opportunities and expectations of partnerships.
Content (course unit)
This module introduces basic management and sponsorship agreements, the added value generated to both parties. The student gets familiar with the rights and obligations of the contracting parties. Additionally, new revenue creation opportunities of the athlete, the athlete company and taxation issues will be discussed.
Prerequisites (course unit)
The module can be included to elective studies in every Degree Programme at JAMK but must be approved by the tutor teacher or study coordinator before starting them. The student can choose to take 1-3 courses from the module and they should be completed in the recommended order.

Non-stop implementation. Students can complete the course according to their own schedule.

Further information
An optional course of study for competitive students in all JAMK degree programmes. The course must be approved by the student's own tutor teacher/training officer before starting. You can complete 1-3 sub-courses. They can be started at any stage of your studies, but it is advisable to start as early as possible.
