Elementary German 2 (3cr)

Objectives (course unit)

The students learn to

1. understand sentences and often used expressions about their own living environment.
2. get along in simple, routine situations in which they exchange information about familiar topics.
3. understand simple speech, if the other communicating party speaks slowly and clearly and is ready to help with the speech comprehension.
4. tell about their home, education, immediate living conditions and about their own needs.

- travelling situations: hotel, restaurant, buying situations
- telephone situations
- politeness
- basic grammar structures and practice
- country information
- pronunciation

Prerequisites (course unit)

Elementary German 1 or two years of German studies.
