Objectives (course unit)

The course is an introduction to Sustainability management in a modern business environment. The course will focus on Sustainable Business, ESG and Sustainability frameworks and Sustainability regulations (e.g. CSRD, CSDDD, EU Taxonomy). The global megatrends and how they affect decision making is also assessed. The students will learn to search for and apply professionally significant sustainability information.

After completing the course, the participants will be able to:
- have a good insight into functions of sustainability management
- adopt the principles of sustainability frameworks and management
- utilize various sources to find research-based information
- describe the material requirements of sustainability regulations
- understand how global megatrends affect sustainable business
