Objectives (course unit)

An introductory professional training course:
The general objective of the traineeship is to familiarise the student with the work of the laboratory and to provide opportunities to apply the knowledge and skills learned in practice.

After completing the traineeship, the student will be able to:
• apply for a job in the field of study and present their skills
• assess his/her skills in the light of the requirements of working life
• set personal learning objectives for the traineeship
• set objectives for his/her learning and professional development
• the main rules and practices of the world of work
• work as part of a working community
• examine and apply prior learning in practice.

Content (course unit)

• The student will participate in the supervision sessions of the traineeship.
• The student will participate in a training seminar in the field of competence.
• The student will obtain a placement.
• The student will set learning objectives for the placement, which will be agreed with the placement supervisor at the workplace.
• The student will prepare a traineeship report according to the given instructions

Assessment criteria, pass/fail (course unit)

The placement is failed if the student has not completed the agreed tasks or has not returned the placement report in accordance with the instructions. The length of the traineeship is not completed as agreed.
