Objectives (course unit)

The students have deepened their skills in music styles and interpretation. They comprehend the forms of compositions, artistic expression and technical skills in playing or singing, corresponding to their level of their studies.

Content (course unit)

Practising the main instrument with a versatile repertoire and deepening the skill in performance and aesthetics. The student has skills in working and practising independently as a musician.

Assessment criteria, pass/fail (course unit)

The student masters the repertoire technically and artistically, expressing the distinctive features of different musical styles. The variety of sound is diverse, and they can master larger musical structures.

Exam schedules

Toisena vuonna ruvetaan suunnittelemaan ja harjoittelemaan varsinaista tutkinto-ohjelmaa, joka ajoittuu kolmannelle vuodelle. Tutkintokokonaisuuden tulee sisältää monipuolisesti eri tyylilajeja. Tutkinto voi olla suppeampi tai C- ja B-resitaalitutkintojen kaltainen opiskelijan taitotasosta riippuen.

Osallistuminen instrumenttiopetukseen. Kuoronjohtajat 12x45 min./lukukausi, orkesterinjohtajat 15x45 min., sävellys-, musiikin teknologia- ja teoriaopislelijat 12x45 min., teoriaopiskelijat 9x45 min.
Oma harjoittelu.

Student workload

Säännöllinen opetukseen osallistuminen, oma harjoittelu, mahdolliset esiintymiset opiskelijakonserteissa.
