Objectives (course unit)
The aim of the course is to strengthen the student’s competence in systems thinking, the significance and role of strategic partnerships in the experience business, strategic management, and to provide the skills to operate within ecosystems.
After completing the course, the student:
- can recognize the role and significance of partnerships as part of implementing a company’s strategy
- can develop the skills to lead partnerships and networks
- can understand and evaluate the ecosystems of the experience business and operate within them

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2) (course unit)
A student can search for information and justify the selection and usefulness of information sources in the fields of ecosystems, systemic thinking, and strategic partnerships.
The student can consistently use concepts related to the subject.
The student can define the significance of strategic partnerships and identify potential strategic partners in their own field and activities.
The student can create collaborative relationships that may have strategic value in their own activities.
The student can examine partnerships from the perspectives of different stakeholders within the ecosystem.
The student can evaluate their own skills related to systems thinking, building partnerships, and leading networks.
Assessment criteria, good (3-4) (course unit)
A student can critically evaluate information sources related to ecosystems, systemic thinking, and strategic partnerships.
The student can structure and compare concepts and models related to the subject.
The student can align their own strategic foundations with those of a network partner.
The student can maintain network relationships and operate within the ecosystem of their own field.
The student can provide suggestions for the systemic development of strategic partnerships and their own field.
The student can develop their own skills related to systems thinking, building partnerships, and leading networks.
Assessment criteria, excellent (5) (course unit)
A student can critically and innovatively use domestic and international information sources related to ecosystems, systemic thinking, and strategic partnerships.
The student can activate their own strategic partners for collaboration and joint development.
The student can evaluate the impacts and effectiveness of the ecosystem.
The student can lead and develop the network or ecosystem development work in their own field and set development goals for the ecosystem.
The student can anticipate the skills needed in systems thinking, building partnerships, and leading networks.
