Objectives (course unit)
This course provides entrepreneurs and professionals with tools to evaluate and improve organizational processes and strategic alignment. Students will learn to analyze development cases, identify trends in operations management, and connect strategy with day-to-day operations. The focus is on practical application of strategic tools and approaches to enhance business performance.
Content (course unit)
During this course the students will:
- Describe business development processes.
- Create a plan to improve processes in real working-life cases.
- Identify operations management trends, such as digitalization and corporate social responsibility.
- Choose appropriate strategic approaches for their business.
- Use strategic tools to analyze the strategic position of their business.
- Analyze strategic choices and their implications.
- Create connections between strategy and operations.
