Objectives (course unit)

This course focuses on systems thinking and value network creation. Students will learn to design, develop, and manage value networks effectively. Key themes include Systems Thinking: Understanding relationships between parts, holistic context, dynamic changes, and a holistic approach to managing complex networks. Value Network Creation: The importance of value networks in modern business, designing network structures, strategic partnerships, value chains, and network management principles.

Content (course unit)

During this course the students will
- apply systems thinking: Understand and apply the principles of systems thinking in the design and development of value networks.
- analyze, design, and lead value networks: Identify and analyze the structures and functions of value networks, design and develop value networks that create added value for all stakeholders, and apply management principles in the governance and development of value networks.
- identify strategic partnerships: Recognize and leverage strategic partnerships and value chains in business development.
- utilize practical tools: Use various tools and methods for analyzing and developing value networks.
