Objectives (course unit)

The course provides knowledge of linear and non-linear storytelling of moving images in the context of contemporary art. The course offers possibilities to experiment with various expressions of narratives. The course facilitates the creation of narratives based on the experiential approach of text, images and diverse forms of presentation.

Content (course unit)

Techniques of linear and non-linear storytelling. Installation and 360-video narratives. Tools for creative script writing and pictorial narrative.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2) (course unit)

The student is able to recognize some of the concepts of narratives in moving image and performs the assigned tasks under supervision. The student is able to give and receive feedback and work in a team.

Assessment criteria, good (3-4) (course unit)

The student is able to outline the relationships between the concepts related to contemporary moving image art narratives. The student is able to choose the most suitable process to justify their choices and solve problems. The student is able to give and receive feedback actively and constructively and keeps up with the schedule, committing to the study group's activities.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5) (course unit)
