Objectives (course unit)

The aim of the course is to develop a small-scale art intervention in a business environment.

Students acquire knowledge of how to collaborate with a business with its regulations and practices. Students are able to demonstrate how to make an art intervention that brings a new business advantage. Students know how to manage a small-scale art project in an enterprise, including basics of fine art practices like production planning, contracts, copyrights, negotiations with enterprises and various presentation solutions.

Management of an art intervention in a business environment.
Project's ecological, economic and social responsibility.
Ethics in decision-making and management. Copyrights and contracts.
Special features of responsibility, such as diversity and accessibility.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2) (course unit)

The student is able to define phenomena and concepts related to art intervention in a business environment on a basic level. The student performs the assigned task under supervision. The student knows diverse procedures but cannot justify their choices. Knows how to give and receive feedback in a constructive manner. Examines and evaluates things from their own point of view. Is able to work in a team and recognizes their interaction skills.

Assessment criteria, good (3-4) (course unit)

The student understands the principles of art intervention in a business environment. The student is able to choose the most suitable procedure. The student is able to plan actions and solve problems. The student is able to give and receive feedback actively and constructively. The student evaluates issues in collaboration with the enterprise. The student is able to cooperate responsibly and is ready to develop their interaction skills. The student follows the practices that are important for publicity, marketing and distribution. The student is able to describe and evaluate the economic and well-being impacts of their own activities.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5) (course unit)

The student understands entities and the relationships between them in the field of art interventions in a business environment. The Student Is able to look for diverse operating methods and solution options. The student is able to evaluate diverse solution options and create new ones. The student Is able to cooperate responsibly, flexibly and constructively. In their report, the student praises both their own interaction and that of the enterprise. The student acts responsibly and committedly, taking into account the requirements and needs of the enterprise. The student understands the economic and well-being impacts of their operations and acts according to them.
