Objectives (course unit)

The new live technology course introduces the latest technologies used on live event production.

The student is able to:
Use the latest technologies in live sound production.
Understand advanced concepts of networks used in live sound production.
Understand the latest digital audio protocols used in live sound production
Enhance both theoretical and practical skills when working with the latest technologies in live sound production

Content (course unit)

The latest technologies used in live event production. Advanced use of data networks
and the latest digital audio protocols are incorporated. Live sound for TV is introduced.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2) (course unit)

The student shows a basic understanding of basic new live sound technologies The student participates in class, assigned work and reporting.

Assessment criteria, good (3-4) (course unit)

The student shows a good understanding of new live sound technologies. The student demonstrates a good ability to interact in discussions related to the field and is good at giving and receiving feedback. The student works actively in class and assignments and delivers well-structured reports.

Student shows an exceptional understanding of new live sound technologies. The student demonstrates an excellent ability to interact in discussions related to the field and is excellent at giving and receiving feedback.
