Objectives (course unit)
The course will enhance the skills needed to strategically plan, execute, and financially optimize the music production process. Dealing with real-life, complex music production scenarios is incorporated.
The student is able to:
Identify and understand the customer's economic, musical, technical, and social requirements and capabilities.
Know how to adapt and shift ways of thinking in various situations, while also discovering fresh perspectives to address challenges that may arise during the production process.
Understand music producer’s business logic and different pricing models.
Develop and supervise a practical and cost-effective production plan.
Apply one's knowledge to guide customers in making financial decisions regarding production.
Consider sustainable production methods.
Content (course unit)
Developing both theoretical and practical knowledge of how to plan, manage, and monitor a financially viable music production process. Guiding customers in making financially profitable choices and developing negotiation and communication skills is incorporated. Additionally, this course provides an opportunity to refine skills through real-life production cases.

The student shows a basic understanding of music producers' business strategies. The student demonstrates a good ability to interact in discussions related to the field and is good at giving and receiving feedback. The student participates in class, assigned work and reporting.

The student shows a good understanding of music producers' business strategies. The student demonstrates a good ability to interact in discussions related to the field and is good at giving and receiving feedback. The student works actively in class and assignments and delivers well-structured reports.
