Objectives (course unit)

Students
-know the phases of Bachelor’s Thesis process in TAMK
-know principles of qualitative and quantitative methods and method of functional Bachelor’s Thesis
-know the importance of reliability and ethics of research
-know the meaning of copyright of research

-Bachelor’s Thesis in TAMK
-Methodological Studies

Prerequisites (course unit)

-adequate knowledge of the radiographer's profession

Assessment criteria, pass/fail (course unit)

Pass:
-participates in the teaching and makes the required tasks/exams acceptably
-can explain the principles of qualitative and quantitative methods as well as the method of functional bachelor’s thesis
-can explain the grounds of reliability and ethics of research

Fail:
-neither participates in the teaching nor makes the required tasks/exams
-cannot distinguish research methods from each other
-cannot explain the principles of qualitative and quantitative methods or the method of functional bachelor’s thesis
-cannot explain the grounds of reliability and ethics of research

Assessment methods and criteria

Orientaatio opinnäytteeseen (1 op) suorittaminen. Moodle tentti erikseen sovittavana ajankohtana. Materiaalina Opinnäytetyö (ohje opiskelijalle, TAMK) sekä tällä Moodle alustalla oleva materiaali. Läpipääsyraja 70%.
Metodiopinnot (2 op) tehtävien hyväksytty suoritus
