Social and Health Care Service System (2 cr)

Objectives (course unit)

- After completing the module, the student will have a research-based understanding of social and health care system at a political, practical and consumer level.
- The student knows the principles of a welfare state and the basic principles of legislation and political guidance that govern the social and health care service system.
- The student has a basic understanding of the social and health care service system in a changing environment. They know the different ways in which services are provided and the economic conditions that govern them.
- The student has an understanding of the various occupations of social and health care and their multi-disciplinary work for clients.
- The student is able to examine the functioning of the service system from the customer's point of view.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2) (course unit)

The Student is able to name the concepts of the social and health care service system and is able to describe the main principles of its function.

Assessment criteria, good (3-4) (course unit)

The student is able to specify the service production of the social and health care service system and the responsibilities from an organizational point of view.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5) (course unit)

The student is able to describe and specify the suitability and manner of organisation of the social and health care service system in accordance with the individual needs of the client.

Location and time

Opintojakson tiedot päivittyvät vielä ennen toteutuksen alkua. Opintojakso toteutuu itsenäisenä verkko-opintoina. Opintojaksolle ilmoittautuneet pääsevät moodle-alustalle opintojakson aloituspäivänä. Orientaatio löytyy tallenteena moodlessa.

Exam schedules

Opintojakson suoritus koostuu itsenäisten ja pienryhmätehtävien tekemisestä (S) ja arvioitavasta reflektoivasta esseestä (1-5). Kurssitehtävät on suoritettava ja lopputehtävä palautettava viimeistään 12.12.22 mennessä, tarkennetaan ajankohtia vielä orientaatiodioilla.

Arviointi kooostuu itsenäisten tehtävien suorittamisesta hyväksytysti (S) ja reflektoivan esseen (1-5) arvioinnista.

Teaching methods

Verkkokurssi, joka toteutuu itsenäisenä verkkokurssina. Kurssiin sisältyy pienryhmätehtäviä ja itsenäisiä tehtäviä. Pienryhmäjako selviää kurssin aloituspäivän aikana 7.11.

Student workload

Kurssin 3op koostuvat opiskelijan itsenäisestä aineistoihin perehtymisestä, ryhmätehtävien ja itsenäisten tehtävien tekemisestä. 3op= 81h opiskelijan työtä

Opiskelija osaa eritellä sosiaali- ja terveyspalvelujärjestelmän palvelujen järjestämistä ja vastuita organisaatioiden näkökulmasta.

Opiskelija osaa kuvata ja eritellä sosiaali- ja terveydenhuollon palvelujärjestelmän palvelujen soveltuvuutta ja järjestämisen tapaa asiakkaan yksilöllisiä tarpeita vastaavasti.
