The student
- is able to use theoretical knowledge critically
- is able to apply relevant research methods in the Bachelor's thesis
- is able to write the bachelor's thesis
- is able to present and defend the thesis professionally and theoretically
- is able to act as an opponent in a professional manner
- is able to justify his/her bachelor’s thesis in maturity test
- is able to express him/herself formally in Finnish, Swedish or English, according to the requirements of the bachelor's thesis
Content (course unit)
- implementation of the Bachelor’s thesis process under supervision
- specified method studies (qualitative, quantitative and literature review)
- writing of the bachelor's thesis
- presenting and defending of the bachelor's thesis
- maturity test
Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2) (course unit)
The bachelor’s thesis is assessed numerically as a whole according to the assessment criteria of TAMK's thesis.

Accepted the focused method studies:
-the student has participated in the teaching of focused method studies
Rejected the focused method studies:
- the student has not participated in the teaching
The bachelor’s thesis is assessed numerically as a whole according to the assessment criteria of TAMK's thesis.
Accepted the seminar and independent working 5op
- the student has participated in the seminar and has shown his own bachelor’s thesis and has been act as opponent
- the student has used control as the support of the progress of the bachelor’s thesis
-the student has followed four the presentations of the completed bachelor’s thesis The marks are collected to the passport of the bachelor’s thesis.
Rejected the manuscriptseminar and independent working 5 op
- the student has not participated in the seminar or has not presented the manuscript of its bachelor’s thesis.
- the student has not used the control of the dissertation
- the work has not proceeded as planted.
