Assessment of Service Quality and Effectiveness (5 cr)

Objectives (course unit)

The student
- is able to analyze the concepts of evaluation, evaluation trends and their relationships
- is able to evaluate various methods and measures of performance and performance evaluation
- is able as an expert to evaluate the quality and effectiveness of services related to his/her work sector by appropriate means

- evaluation study, impact and impact assessment
- utilization of evaluation data

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2) (course unit)

The student
- is able to retrieve information on the subject and is able to use national and international sources
- is able to apply the information he/she has collected at a descriptive level to review current practices and policies

Assessment criteria, good (3-4) (course unit)

The student
- is able to retrieve evidence-based knowledge from both national and international sources and to evaluate sources with a critical eye
- is able to do analysis and synthesis of the topic
- is able to use the knowledge he/she has acquired to evaluate critically and to develop existing policies

Assessment criteria, excellent (5) (course unit)

The student
- is able to retrieve evidence-based information from a variety of national and international sources, evaluate research critically and synthesize the information collected
- demonstrates deep understanding of the subject
- is able to critically evaluate existing practices and to develop new evidence-based approaches

Exam schedules

Kurssissa ei ole tenttiä. Verkkokeskustelu ja interventiotehtävä muodostavat arvosanan.
Verkkotiivistelmä: arvosnanan osuus 30% koko arvosanasta. Interventiotehtävä 70 % arvosanasta.

Verkkokeskustelut: Neljä lukemistoa ja neljä tehtävää, kukin 150-200 sanan tiivistys sekä yhden vertaisen tuotoksen kommentointi

Itsenäinen opiskelu ja ryhmätehtävä 90 h
