Objectives (course unit)
The aim of the course is to provide media and art students with knowledge of how to succeed in working life.
Student gets knowledge of how to apply emerging media tools and customer-oriented approach. The student understands the perspective of the client and knows how to adjust the project accordingly. The student knows how to negotiate with the clients and make necessary contracts.
The student successfully applies emerging media technologies and tools.
Content (course unit)
Workshops on how to make a shift from studies to working life.
Approaches towards various audiences and customers.
Individual project work practices (pre-production, production, post-production).
New technology and media tools.
Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2) (course unit)
The student is aware of the emerging new technologies and is able to apply new tools to project work and work with the client at a basic level.
Assessment criteria, good (3-4) (course unit)
The student is fully aware of emerging media tools and is independently able to gain knowledge of the newest emerging media tools. The student shows good collaboration skills with the clients.
Assessment criteria, excellent (5) (course unit)
The student has an excellent knowledge of emerging media tools and technologies. The student knows how to choose the most suitable tools for the project. The student has excellent negotiation skills and can add extra value to client projects. The student is highly motivated to face the company and community needs.
