Objectives (course unit)
The objective of the study module is for the student to become familiar with key players in the domestic AV industry, financing channels, copyright issues, and contractual practices. Additionally, they will learn to present a serialised concept and develop it based on received feedback.
After completing the course, the student
- knows key players in the domestic AV industry relevant to serialised works and understands various financing channels
- understands the essential basics of copyright issues and contractual practices in serialised storytelling
- can present a serialised concept and further develop the presentation based on received feedback

Familiarisation with production and TV companies. Copyright and contractual practices. Presentation and development of a serialised concept.
Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2) (course unit)
The student recognises the key players in the domestic AV industry from the perspective of serialised works. They grasp the fundamental principles of different financing channels. The student has a superficial understanding of the importance of copyrights and contractual practices in serialised storytelling. They can present a serialised concept situationally and are capable of partially developing their presentation based on received feedback. There are some shortcomings in the student's work and interaction.
Assessment criteria, good (3-4) (course unit)
The student systematically organises and thoroughly analyses the key players in the domestic AV industry from the perspective of serialised works. They identify differences and similarities among various financing channels. The student precisely defines the role of copyrights and contractual practices in serialised storytelling. They can present a serialised concept critically and applicatively. The student is capable of efficiently developing their presentation based on received feedback. They improve their work and interaction skills throughout the course.
Assessment criteria, excellent (5) (course unit)
The student has a comprehensive mastery of the key players in the domestic AV industry in the context of serialised works. They are knowledgeable about the differences and similarities among various financing channels. The student deepens and broadens their understanding of copyrights and contractual practices in serialised storytelling. They professionally present a serialised concept and consistently develop it based on continuous feedback. The student actively enhances their work and interaction skills throughout the course. They demonstrate excellent professional competence in the subject matter of the course.
