Choral or Ensemble Singing 2 (8 cr)

Objectives (course unit)

The student advances the skills for working in a choir or vocal ensemble on an advanced level. They can function as part of the choral instrument, manage and develop their own vocal technique, and follow the conductor.

Content (course unit)

• Singing as part of the practice choir in the choral conducting class or vocal ensemble.
• Performance in a concert or in an exam concert of choral conducting students´.
• Choral singing technique, choral ear training, tuning, rhythmic and harmonic cohesion in the choir or vocal ensemble

Assessment criteria, pass/fail (course unit)

Students works professionally and responsible in a choir or vocal ensemble.

Location and time

Vokaaliyhtye tiistaisin 12.30-14.30 Satamakadun salissa erillisen aikataulun mukaan. Aikataulu tarkentuu elokuun aikana.
