Objectives (course unit)

Student knows the basics of CAD / BIM.

Student knows how to use the application used for Building Information Modeling of building design in accordance with general BIM requirements and in an ifc-compatible manner.

After completing the course, student will be able to use information modeling applications in building design from the sketch phase to implementation.

Student knows how to use the various visualization and layout features of information modeling applications in presenting their plans.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2) (course unit)

Student has achieved basic skills in the subject area. He often does not solve the IT challenges that come up by himself, but relies on help.

There are deficiencies or errors in the BIM model returned as an exercise.

Assessment criteria, good (3-4) (course unit)

Student has comprehensive knowledge of the subject area. Student mainly copes independently in challenging situations related to information technology.

The BIM model returned as an exercise has only a few flaws or errors.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5) (course unit)

Student works with the discussed software in an almost professional manner and is capable of an almost professional-level conversation.

Student is an active actor in learning situations and, if necessary, helps others by solving their problem situations. He is able to search for additional information independently.

The BIM model returned as an exercise is almost flawless.
