Objectives (course unit)

The aim of the course is to ensure the student's knowledge of forest plant species.

After completing the course, the student:
• can identify the most important plant species for defining forest and mire types in their natural habitats.

Content (course unit)

Compiling of student´s own plant herbarium (80 species of a given list) by photographing.

Assessment criteria, pass/fail (course unit)

Successful completion of the course requires photographing at least 80 forest and mire plants and making a photo compilation. Alternatively, the student can also collect the plants and make a traditional plant herbarium.
