Exam schedules
Midterm exams (2) will be done outside the lecture sessions at a specified time in Moodle. It is not possible to retake midterm exams.
Final exam date 13.11.2025. The exam will be organized as closed-book paper exam supervised on-site by the assistant teachers in Qilu University.
Re-take exam will be arranged in December 2025, the exact date will be announced later in Moodle.
Assessment methods and criteria
The grade is based on midterm exams and the final exam. The midterm exams weigh 40% of the grade and the final exam weighs 60% of the grade. Quizzes taken during classes do not affect the course grade.

Teaching material in Moodle
The course is based on the Biochemistry textbook by Campbell, Mary K., et al. (Campbell, Mary K., et al. Biochemistry. 9th edition., Cengage Learning, 2016.) Any other university level biochemistry textbook in English or Chinese can also be used as a course textbook.
