Objectives (course unit)

The student
• Is able to act as an expert in health promotion methods, theories, and models at the individual and community levels
• Is able to assess the impact of municipal and regional decision-making processes on health and the effectiveness of health promotion
• Is able to plan, implement, and evaluate a health promotion project

Part 2, 5 ECTS credits
• Projects in Planning, Implementation, and Evaluation of Health Promotion
• Project Management

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2) (course unit)

Student
• recognizes key methods, theories, and models of health promotion
• understands some principles of evaluation of effectiveness
• is able to plan, implement, and conduct a limited evaluation of a health promotion project

Assessment criteria, good (3-4) (course unit)

Student
• is able to apply key methods, theories, and models of health promotion
• is able to assess the impact assessment of decisions on health and the effectiveness of health promotion
• is able to plan, implement, and evaluate a health promotion project

Assessment criteria, excellent (5) (course unit)

Student
• is able to apply and analyze a wide range of key methods, theories, and models of health promotion
• is able to critically and evidence-based assess the impact of decision-making on health and enhance the effectiveness of health promotion interventions
• is able to plan, implement, and evaluate a health promotion project, and understand the project requirements in both domestic and international contexts

Orientaatioluento 11.8 - pakollinen läsnäolo. Seminaarit, projektiesitykset pakollinen läsnäolo.

Muissa kontaktipäivissä suositeltava läsnäolo.

Tehtävissä hyväksytty/hylätty ja projektitöissä sekä portfoliossa numeraalinen arviointi.

Teaching methods

10 opintopisteen jakso sisältää luento-opetusta, ryhmätyötä, itsenäistä opiskelua sekä projektityötä.
Opetus etä- ja lähiopetuksena. Etäopiskelupäivät on kirjattu lukujärjestykseen. Opintojakso alkaa 11.8.2025.
