Objectives (course unit)

After completion of the course, the student will know the location of the anatomical structures that are essential to the radiographer's work in relation to each other. The student will also be able to view anatomical structures in three dimensions.

After completing the course, the student:
• can see human body as three-dimensional
• masters the key concepts, levels, directions and locations of human anatomy
• knows the location of major muscles and their origins and insertions
• knows the location of human organs and their relationship to each other
• can name anatomical body parts from slice images

• concepts of topographic anatomy
• Human anatomy (organs, bones, muscles, vessels) in 3D

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2) (course unit)

• can name the key concepts of topographic anatomy
• can recognize different body planes
• can name anatomical body parts from slice images

Assessment criteria, good (3-4) (course unit)

• can describe the key concepts of topographic anatomy
• can recognize and name anatomical targets from different body planes
• can discern the location of human organs and their relationship to each other

Assessment criteria, excellent (5) (course unit)

• can fluently use the key concepts of topographic anatomy
• can recognize and widely name anatomical targets from different body planes
• can widely discern the location of human organs and their relationship to each other
