Objectives (course unit)
The students learn how to take into account the structure’s physical characteristics and authorities’ regulations when designing and implementing structures.
Content (course unit)
Heat and moisture technology, material characteristics and their calculations. Basics of sound insulation, the most common solutions of sound insulation and damping. Basics of regulations and the most important standards and instructions. Assingments.
Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2) (course unit)
The student knows the subjects dealt with in the course plan satisfactorily.
The student has many absences. Activity in lectures and assignments is weak.
The student has difficulty in understanding the basic ideas of the subject and therefore it is difficult to apply what he / she has learned to practical work. It is clear from the whole that the issues dealt with have not been addressed.
Assessment criteria, good (3-4) (course unit)
The student knows well the issues dealt with in the course plan.
The student has little absences. Activity in lectures and assignments is good. Work progresses consistently throughout the course. The student understands the basic ideas of the course and is able to apply what he / she has learned in practice.

The student knows the subjects dealt with in the course plan in an excellent manner.
The student has participated actively and constructively in the teaching. The student understands what has been learned and what has been learned in the course and is able to apply what he / she has learned to practical work.
