Objectives (course unit)

The student can
• including the electrical plan, implements the electrical installations of a small object
• the principles of cable dimensioning and electrical equipment selection
• perform safety checks on the device/item and document them
• the main basics of electrical safety
• identify and apply electrical safety requirements in electrical work
• define the responsibilities and obligations related to the duties of the person responsible for electrical work safety.

Content (course unit)

Key regulations related to electrical safety and electrical work safety. (STL, VnAs and SFS6002)

The construction project of the electricity center based on the design documentation. Commissioning inspection of the center.

The basic structure of the property's electrical network and the basics of electrical installation technology: power determination, cable sizing and selection of electrical equipment. The documentation contained in the property's electrical plan.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2) (course unit)

The student knows how to carry out the electrical installations of a small object under guidance, as well as perform safety checks on it. The student knows the main basics of electrical safety and recognizes electrical safety requirements in electrical work.

Assessment criteria, good (3-4) (course unit)

The student can carry out the electrical installations of a small object based on the electrical plan. He knows how to conduct safety checks on it under guidance and document them. The student knows the essential basics of electrical safety and understands the electrical safety requirements in electrical work. He knows the responsibilities and obligations of the person responsible for electrical work safety. He also knows the principles for cable dimensioning and the selection of electrical equipment.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5) (course unit)

The student can carry out the electrical installations of a small object based on the electrical plan. He knows how to perform safety checks on it and document them. The student knows the essential basics of electrical safety and understands the electrical safety requirements in electrical work. He understands the responsibilities and obligations of the person responsible for electrical work safety. He knows the basics of wire dimensioning and choosing electrical equipment, and he knows how to prepare the documentation of the property's electrical plan.
