Assessment methods and criteria
Evaluation:
There will be 3 exams and they all have 20 points each, so maximum points are a total 60 from the exams. There will also be weekly homework exercises, yielding a maximum of 6 extra points to your point total.
The total maximum of points for this course is therefore 66 points.
You get homework points by doing following amount of exercises returned:
40 % -> 1
50 % -> 2
60 % -> 3
70% -> 4
80 % -> 5
90 % -> 6
Your grade is determined based on your point total as follows:
16*p -> 1
27p -> 2
37p -> 3
48p -> 4
58p -> 5
*In addition to the 16 points required to pass, you need to score at least 4 points from each exam to pass the course.
The course may also be taken as one 30 point exam, out of which 10 points are required to pass. Homework points do not count towards this total.
