Objectives (course unit)

The aim of this course is to develop basic knowledge about the structure and function of the circulatory and respiratory systems.

After completing the course, the student
• Knows the structure of the basic tissue types and the way they form the organs.
• Knows the structure and function of the blood, cardiovascular system and respiratory system.

• Knows the structure and functions of the human body and is able to describe the relationship of the functions to each other.

• Has a broad understanding of the structure and importance of tissues for the functioning of the body as a whole.
• Has an in-depth knowledge of the structure and function of the human circulatory and respiratory system.
• Can apply his / her knowledge of anatomy and physiology, demonstrates the mastery of entities and is able to combine theoretical knowledge with the professional context.
