Objectives (course unit)

The student:
- knows the basics of information and process management.
- knows the standards of operating and environmental systems, the general structure of systems, and understands their significance in the management of an organization
- knows the ways in which forest organizations manage their activities

Content (course unit)

Basics of Information and Process Management, SFS Standards, Basics of Quality Systems and Quality Management, Quality and Environmental Systems in the Forest Sector, Forest Organization Operational Control Practices

The student knows the general structure of operating and environmental systems and the related standards

Assessment criteria, good (3-4) (course unit)

The student knows the general structure of operational and environmental systems and understands their importance in the operation of forest organizations
The student knows the basics of information and process management theories.

The student shows that he / she knows the methods of managing forest organizations and understands the reasons for differences in the activities of different organizations.
