Objectives (course unit)
The course prepares students to analyse the meaning of works of art, the relationship between content and form, and the solutions and details of their presentation.
The student is able to understand contemporary art from a broad perspective.
The student is able to keep the deadlines and receive and utilize feedback.
Content (course unit)
Broad understanding of contemporary art, introduction to concrete works of art and their presentation, and analysis of the work. Creating meaning.
Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2) (course unit)
The student recognizes and defines concepts in contemporary fine art. The student gives and receives constructive feedback. The student identifies important practices in contemporary art. The student performs assigned tasks with supervision, follows procedures, and handles routine tasks.
Assessment criteria, good (3-4) (course unit)
The student describes relationships in concepts of contemporary fine art. The student actively gives and receives feedback, cooperates responsibly, and identifies key practices in the field. The student takes responsibility for personal and group activities.
Assessment criteria, excellent (5) (course unit)
The student understands large-scale relationships and generalizes practices in the professional context. The student uses feedback systematically for professional development and is able to present new viewpoints. The student shows very high motivation.
