Objectives (course unit)

The students are able to work out the matters related to the load capability and building physics of structures and are able to design structural renovations.

Content (course unit)

Working out structural measures related to renovation projects. The design of renovations of steel, timber and especially concrete structures. Examples of finished projects.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2) (course unit)

The student is able to identify and define the basics of the course and solve simple questions
applications that are similar to the tasks being handled.

Assessment criteria, good (3-4) (course unit)

In addition to the above, the student is able to choose the most suitable one by applying and comparing different options
policy and justify their choices.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5) (course unit)

In addition to the above, the student has a comprehensive understanding of the course topics and their use
problem solving; and the ability to present, analyze, and justify logically handled issues and methods of solution.

Tentti järjestetään huhtikuussa 2024. Uusintatentti syksyllä 2024 tai erikseen sovittaessa.

Assessment methods and criteria

Harjoitustehtävät ja tentti pitää suorittaa hyväksytysti.
Arvioinnissa harjoitustehtävien osuus on 50% ja tentin osuus on 50%.

Lähiopetus 2 h/vko + itsenäinen opiskelu + harjoitustehtävät + tenttiin valmistautuminen.

Rakenteiden ja mitoitusmenetelmien historiaa.
Kantavien rakenteiden tutkimusmenetelmät.
Vanhojen tai vaurioituneiden kantavien rakenteiden korjausten sekä vahvistamisen suunnittelu ja mitoitus (puu-, teräs-, betoni- ja muuratut rakenteet, perustukset).
