Objectives (course unit)

The student
- uses different ways of learning and knows how to use them when learning independently and in groups
- is able to determine the need for information, evaluate and apply information and knows how to search for information from various sources.
- knows how to communicate appropriately in the various working life situations
- takes into account the recipient’s situation and requirements in the field and knows how to communicate in a structured, understandable an effective way.

• writing documents (e.g. job applications, notifications)

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2) (course unit)

The student has successfully completed all assignments and participated in the required amount of teaching.
He writes comprehensively and in style, imitating a document standard. The student utilizes the sources, although their use and referencing is minor. The justification of the claims is modest. The construction of the text is volatile, and the form and style of the language are noteworthy.
The student is able to keep his / her introductory speech visual, but there are many things to note in terms of duration, structure, interaction or use of sound.

Assessment criteria, good (3-4) (course unit)

The student has completed all assignments successfully and according to the agreed schedule. The student shows activity and justifies his / her views. According to the instructions given, his or her performance is attentive to the situation and the structure of the recipient.
The views expressed are substantiated, the source information is appropriately peer-reviewed and the referencing is naturally linked to the rest of the presentation. The essential information is clearly communicated and the presentation is fairly error-free and follows the guidelines.
The student takes the recipients and the situation into account in his / her presentations. During a structured speech, the student maintains eye contact with the audience and speaks in his or her own words

Assessment criteria, excellent (5) (course unit)

The student has completed all assignments in accordance with the agreed schedules and participated actively and constructively in the teaching. He communicates persuasively, enthusiastically and interactively, and gives many reasons for his opinion. The language he uses is almost flawless and impeccable in style.
